Thank You To Delegates and Visitors to NYCUCC Annual Meeting 2016
Tuesday, June 14, 2016
Dear Delegates and Visitors of the New York Conference Annual Meeting,
Thank you for being there. We were a mighty witness for Letting Justice Roll. And as they say, now the work begins. There is much to do.
Thank you for your gifts to the two worship collections which will support the efforts of DOC/UCC Global Ministries in our Middle East Initiative. As we learned during our time together, we have much work to do here in New York to ensure a process that not only promotes peace in Israel/Palestine, but also leverages economic measures to ensure that end. Our offerings totals $3540.00. Praise be to God.
Thank you for your gifts made online for Covenant Share. All Covenant Share packets were mailed to each church in the New York Conference over two weeks ago. The packets include a cover letter, a bulletin insert, and a number of envelops equivalent to what our records show your church membership to be. Please talk to your church leadership circle to encourage the Covenant Share Offering in your church. As you heard at our meeting, growth of Covenant Share is essential.
Finally, thank you to all who made a donation to Friends of the Conference by writing a check and placing it in the “Friends” envelope. Your faithful support is appreciated more than you know. Each giver to either Friends or Covenant Share receives a personally signed “thank you” with the amount you gave, from a member of your ministry team.
If you’d like to still make a gift, or to make a recurring gift, you may do so now here:
Most of all, thank you for what you do in your local church and community. May all we do together….
Let Justice Roll,
David R Gaewski
