Call to Action: Faith Leaders Sign-On to Oppose Anti-Refugee Bill
Wednesday, April 6, 2016
An anti-refugee bill - SB6253 - is making its way through the New York State Senate, and the New York Immigration Coalition is looking for faith leaders from across the state to sign on to a letter opposing it. The bill would require refugee resettlement agencies to monitor and report on the activities of refugees in our state. Clergy and lay leaders, click here to read the letter and sign. For more information, contact Rev. Emily McNeill, Justice and Witness Ministries Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
